Visiting Banjul

The capital of Gambia is the small city of Banjul. With only 35,000 people. From this aerial shot you can see it resembles more of a sprawling town than a nation’s capital. The photo below shows another shot taken from one of the highest buildings of the downtown area. Banjul is actually one of the smallest country capitals in the world, and the surrounding area only totals 300,000 people. This is one of the key reasons it’s such a great place to visit!
