Visiting Czech

Czech is famous for its beautiful cities, great cuisine, and world class beer. For a reasonable amount of money you can live and eat like a king, but with most of the world streamlining itself due to globalization, these great times for travelers might not last forever. Since my company’s training department got moved to Brno, Czech will be a place that I will likely visit almost annually for years to come. So far I’ve made it only to Brno and Prague, but on each visit I plan to explore a new region.

Prague was once another major city in eastern Europe, but has now become of the world’s favorite destinations. Prague medieval and Gothic architecture that occupies nearly every city block has made it one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

For most living in the region, Brno is likely famous for being Czech’s second largest city, and also a center for technology. For travelers, Brno is most famous for its massive medieval center, underground labyrinths, and even Europe’s second largest ossuary.
